This is what it’s all about – getting out there and riding for a good cause with a smile on your face the whole time. Leigh this Saturday rode just over the equivalent height in vertical metres of Mount Everest (8848m) from 3:00am to 6:00pm, all to raise awareness and funds for Police Veterans Victoria. To say we’re grateful to Leigh is an understatement!
Leigh has helped us raise almost $9000 in pursuit of our $10k goal in only 13 days. He’s put in such a mammoth effort to get the word out about PVV and rally support – he’s put in the work, and now it’s time for us to finish it off.
If you’d like to help PVV reach our goal, there’s still time to donate. From the bottom of our hearts, to Leigh, to all who’ve donated so far, to those who cheered on Leigh on the day and to Ern for his photography, we say thankyou.

A great effort Leigh! A huge thank you and best wishes always.
I was pleased to assist you Leigh! so I dipped in with a donation remembering those years I raced my bike with my late father in laws, Blackburn “Amateur” cycling club.! George Robinson had his cycle building and bike shop in Blackburn and founded the club in 1946. I used to train through those Dandenong ranges, and “Robbie” in 1953 wanted me to ride the road season as he thought I could win the Victorian (Jr.) under18 road cycling championships! so I did ride the road season and I did win the championship , then riding for Victoria in Perth W/A. where I came 5th, this also caused a lot of pleasure for club mates, families and friends. All good stuff Leigh. good on ya mate.
A great effort from a very fit, generous man . Congratulations from this old comrade , Bob Davis
